WHAT IS RISE? | New 2025 Orbea Rise LT M-TEAM 630W
For those of you who do not know the New 2025 Orbea Rise LT M-TEAM 630W, where have you been? These guys revolutionized lightweight eMTBs back in 2020. They didn’t invent the lightweight eMTB category, but Rise changed the perception of what these bikes could do. The level of integration, performance, and range helped shape the lightweight eBike category.
And with the new Rise 2025 they’ve upped the ante again – offering a totally new trail experience. The totally redesigned frame is stiffer, with updated geometry and more travel, just means better handling than ever.
It blends an exceptional range (from either a 420wh or 630wh battery) with an RS* tuned firmware connected to the Shimano EP motor to create a brand new communication protocol between the motor and battery systems. This will allow riders set a maximum torque of 85 Nm (Yes, 85 Nm of power on a lightweight eMTB)
Handling will be a revelation for riders, the bike just feels like a well-sorted mechanical bike thanks to the combination of geometry, frame rigidity and low weight. To put it simply, no eMTB has ever offered a similar connection to the trail
*RS stands for Rider Synergy (if you didn’t know). More on that later as this is game-changing for the rider.
WHY CHOOSE New 2025 Orbea Rise LT M-TEAM 630W ?
This is where it truly is game-changing. What makes Orbea Rise 2025 unique?
Performance First: The Most Connected RideHandling.
The carefully tuned frame rigidity, aggressive geometry and plush suspension mean you enjoy the ups just as much as the downs. It has +8% tuned rigidity in the front triangle, with +14% in the rear. The Asymmetric design is key to finding the perfect structural performance. The position of the brace, together with Orbea’s SBS (Secure Battery System) increases torsional rigidity. Progressive geometry and suspension kinematics to create a ‘steep n deep’ feeling, teamed up with a full insertion 200mm or 230mm dropper (depending on your frame size)
RS Power
The careful balance of simplicity, power and weight gives the most natural, elastic assistance. Rider Synergy (RS) is the heart of the New 2025 Orbea Rise LT M-TEAM 630W.
Orbea’s custom firmware works with Shimano’s EP8 motors to give the most natural, elastic assistance and best-in-class battery range for the most epic adventures. RS GEN2 MC – Maximum assistance configurable up to 85 Nm. Optimised for technical trails, trick climbing or when you just need that little extra punch
RS Range
The perfect battery for your trails. Choose between 420wh standard battery or the 630wh enhanced battery.
More Ways to Rise
MyO configurator is an industry benchmark program that enables users to customize their Orbea model for free during the ordering process, then delivered to The Electric Bike Shop with the desired configuration. Choose a frame paint, certain components, its measurements and even color
UNDERSTANDING GEN2 2 RIDER SYNERGY (RS FOR SHORT)
Rider Synergy provides the most natural, elastic assistance, and its battery range is best in class, making it ideal for epic adventures.
For 2025, with this New 2025 Orbea Rise LT M-TEAM 630W, is the RS Gen2 MC firmware (a bit of a mouthful for sure). This new firmware works with the Shimano EP motor’s highly sensitive and responsive sensors. RS Gen2 is an evolution of the first generation RS firmware, bringing about a faster, more precise response with the increased torque offering you, the rider, more assistance. It’s much more noticeable at lower cadences, so for technical trails or steep climbs, it just feels more natural.
The settings are highly adjustable, and the rider has full control via the Shimano e-Tube App. There are two profiles, named RS and RS+. It’s pretty simple. RS+ is the full-powered beast, delivering 85 Nm of torque, whereas RS only has 54 Nm of torque. RS would be typically used for longer rides, whereas RS+ is really for technical, low-cadence trials or steeper climbs. New 2025 Orbea Rise LT M-TEAM 630W.
*Note – The bikes are shipped to My Mobility Store in RS Mode. But fear not. If you want them adjusted to the RS+ mode (as you love the extra power) we can do that for you in under 30 seconds. Sweet. New 2025 Orbea Rise LT M-TEAM 630W.
